WWA recently attended the launch of Barnardo’s new Women’s Health service, Joyful Mamas. The service supports women in Aylesbury and High Wycombe who, for whatever reason, are struggling to access appropriate support during and post pregnancy. The service can support with a wide range of needs, from ensuring women have appropriate language support for their medical appointments to ensuring women have any transport and support that they need to attend medical appointments. Group support will also be available.
Someone from the service will be attending WWA’s monthly Open Door drop in, which will be a really good resource to offer to women attending Open Door.
