Guidance for Friends and Family Booklet
The Buckinghamshire Lived Experience Forum, made up of Domestic Abuse survivors have co-produced a leaflet with the DA Team at Buckinghamshire Council. The leaflet advises family and friends in how best to support loved ones going through an abusive relationship. The guide includes what Domestic Abuse is, what to do and what not to do. It also includes useful tools and telephone numbers. The leaflet can be found here:
Clare’s Law
Clare’s Law is the domestic abuse disclosure scheme. If you are concerned that someone you know may be in a relationship and is at risk of domestic violence please click on the link below to access an information leaflet published by Hertfordshire Police.
Legal Aid

July 2015 – one aspect of the domestic violence evidence criteria for family law legal aid, which until now has meant that legal aid which had been granted came to an end when the evidence became more than two years old, has now changed.
