Why donate to Wycombe Women’s Aid?
- At least 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence at some point during their lifetime. One of your friends, family members, work colleagues or other acquaintances will currently be experiencing domestic violence or will have experienced it in the past.
- A 2002 report by the Department of Health stated that at least 750,000 children a year witness domestic violence. In nearly all cases of domestic violence, children are in the same or next room.
If you feel passionate about our work, please consider supporting us in our fight to end violence against women and children.
Who will benefit from your support?
Thank you
Your contribution will help to change lives and enable women and children to live free from fear
All donations we receive directly benefit the women and children we are currently working with. In 2023/24 we directly supported over 800 women and over 100 children and young people. We are able to use donations to further enhance the core support we provide to women and children, for example:
- By providing a trip to the local Pantomime at Christmas time, and tea afterwards in McDonald’s
- By providing trips and special activities for the After School Group
- By purchasing toys and equipment for our playroom and garden
- By providing outings during school holidays for women and children
- By purchasing suitable bedding to ensure our bedrooms are warm and welcoming for women and children
Our services enable women and children to live free from fear and to build safe and healthy lives. Your contribution will help to change lives.
We send a written acknowledgement to all of our supporters.

Easyfundraising
easyfundraising.org.uk helps charities and other good causes to raise money when their supporters shop online. So far they have raised over £4 million for causes throughout the UK.
It works in a similar way to many other loyalty shopping sites, but instead of earning points when you shop, you raise a donation for your cause instead. You can shop with over 2,000 well known stores and each will donate up to 15% of what you spend.
It does not cost you any more to shop – you simply buy those things that you were going to buy online anyway, but make the purchase after logging into your account with Easy Fundraising. This will generate donations from the retailers into the Wycombe Women’s Aid account that we hold with them.
- Login online – join easyfundraising and select Wycombe Women’s Aid
- Start shopping – follow links to over 2000 retailers and shop as normal
- Generate donations – online purchases earn an automatic donation to Wycombe Women’s Aid
It doesn’t cost you a penny more!
Non-financial Donations
Wycombe Women’s Aid also welcomes donations of goods and services. Many of the families we work with are on a low income and have greatly benefited from the kindness and generosity of individuals and groups donating items such as:
- good quality second hand clothes and shoes
- new toiletries
- nappies and baby wipes
- towels (new or good quality second hand)
- school uniform
- food
At festival times (for example Eid, Diwali and Christmas) we welcome donations of food, new toys (for children of all ages) and new gifts for women so that each family we work with receives appropriate gifts. Festivals can be a very difficult time for families experiencing domestic violence and our aim is to make it as special as possible for them.
We accept non-financial donations based on the current needs of the women and children we are working with, as well as the storage space we have available so please contact us if you are interested in making a non-financial donation.

Wycombe Women’s Aid would like to thank the individuals, companies, statutory and voluntary bodies who believe in the work we do and have supported us in so many different ways. Your support and commitment have been invaluable and there are many we would like to thank, not only for their financial support, but also their understanding of and commitment to the plight of women and children we work with.
