Black, minoritised, and migrant women deserve to feel safe in their communities.  The VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) sector is deeply concerned about the growing rise in hate incidents and racially aggravated attacks targeting Black, minoritised and migrant women.

Wycombe Women’s Aid, along with a coalition of over 68 other VAWG organisations, is calling for an urgent, coordinated, and multi-agency response to strengthen safety for women and girls, improve collaboration between services, and ensure justice for all.  Following the recent rape in Park Hall and the increasing fear among women locally, the coalition has written to key regional and national leaders including Jess Phillips, Minister for Safeguarding calling for an urgent multi-agency meeting.

Every woman deserves to feel safe in her community.

We stand together for safety, justice, and change.
