A HUGE thank you to the group of girls in Year 10 at St Mary’s School, Gerrards Cross, who chose Wycombe Women’s Aid for their social enterprise project and were the overall winners, winning £500 for us!
The year group was divided into ten teams and each team had to choose a charity that they felt passionate about and carry out fundraising and awareness raising work. The project culminated in a special evening where each team had to deliver a presentation about their chosen charity and put forward why their charity should win. The group of girls who had chosen Wycombe Women’s Aid delivered a superb presentation and were declared the overall winners by the judging panel.
